A Brief History



DoveTales was inspired in 1992 and first appeared as an insert to 
the Pine Grove bulletin in 1994.  The stories take on a variety of 
styles and themes.  Some are poems, while others are short stories 
or merely daily observations.  Hopefully, all of them have the 
purpose of challenging the readers to examine their own situations,
or to find strength in time of need.  Life is not perfect for any of us. 
We all suffer from many shortcomings and that dreaded thing called
"humanity".  DoveTales reflect the struggles of daily life, issues to 
stand for, faith to cling to, or victories to celebrate.
I hope you enjoy reading these stories, but most of all, I hope that 
some may benefit you in your present chapter of life.
