"Doctor, Doctor!"
Doctor, Doctor!
I'm hardly breathing, feel barely
alive.
This pain inside, will I survive?
Please save my life, I need you now.
Feel so dead within, help me somehow.
My heart is jaded, and spirit's cold.
Lived with excess, so I've been told.
It may be too late, but willing to try.
I'm in your hands, it's do or die.
Doctor, Doctor - I'm seeking mercy.
Please say there's a prayer for me.
Your reputation goes around the earth:
The "Great Physician" of priceless worth.
A heart specialist, a healer of the soul.
The giver of life, you paid the toll.
Finally feeling alive, you took me in.
My heart was blocked, you removed the sin.
Surgery leaves a scar for all to see.
The cross of the surgeon, wear it in victory.
Doctor, Doctor - I found mercy.
Someone must have prayed for me.
I gave you a dying heart,
you gave me life eternally.

Matthew 13:15
For this people's heart has become calloused: they hardly hear
with their ears, and
they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes,
hear with
their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.
1 Peter 2:24-25
He himself bore our sins in
his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and
live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed. For you were
like sheep
going astray, but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of
your souls.
