We all want to receive forgiveness,
and need to forgive
from time to time.
Life isn't perfect. That's why we have insurance,
body shops, and grace.
No matter what happens, or what we fail to do,
we are never beyond forgiveness.
We have insurance on our cars and houses to protect
our property from damage due to nature and each other.
If we are in Christ, we have assurance that grace will
protect us from damage due to daily accidents
from ourselves.
Ephesians
4:32
Be kind and
compassionate to one another, forgiving each other,
just as in Christ, God
forgave you. Colossians
3:13
Bear with
each other and forgive whatever grievances you may
have against one
another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. Acts
10:43
All the
prophets testify about him that everyone who believes
in him receives
forgiveness of sins through his name. Hebrews
4:14-16
Therefore,
since we have a great high priest who has gone through
the heavens, Jesus
the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we
profess. For we do not
have a high priest who is unable to sympathize
with our weaknesses, but we
have one who has been tempted in
every way, just as we are - yet was
without sin. Let us then approach
the throne of grace with confidence, so
that we may receive mercy
and find grace to help us in our time of need. 2
Thessalonians 2:16
May the Lord
Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us
and by his grace
gave us eternal encouragement and good hope,
encourage your hearts and
strengthen you in every good deed
and word.
